Here’s what happened Friday night.

All-Delco running back Jerry Lanier didn’t run for 200 yards in a 37-0 rout of Sun Valley, so he settled for 174 in basically a half of work.

Dee Barlee staked his claim to being Episcopal Academy’s No. 1 back with 121 yards and two scores in a 34-15 rout of Caravel Academy.

De’Andre Johnson‘s penchant for big plays and Upper Darby’s penchant for turnovers guided Glen Mills to an 18-13 win over the Royals.

Mistakes keep killing The Haverford School’s chances at getting into the win column, as shown in a 31-21 loss to Lawrenceville School.

Shawn Springs‘ 75-yard touchdown reception gave Archbishop Carroll hope, but Del Val Charter battled back to down the Patriots, 20-13.

Cardinal O’Hara nearly broke into the win column against La Salle, but the Explorers took advantage of the Lions’ mistakes for a 28-14 win.

West Catholic proved to be too much for Bonner-Prendergast as the Burrs upended the Friars, 30-17.
